Beretta has placed a pause in the further production of the Beretta 1301 Tactical shotgun with 7+1 capacity, effective November 4, 2024. This decision comes in response to recent regulatory developments with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), impacting the importation of certain components essential to the assembly of the 1301 Tactical in the U.S.

 

Beretta USA is in active discussions with the ATF to fully understand the scope of these regulatory interpretations. Their team is dedicated to working collaboratively with regulatory authorities to resolve this matter and continue serving valued customers.
In the meantime, this unforeseen ATF decision is likely to affect their ability to fulfill demand for the 1301 Tactical through the end of the year. To continue meeting consumer and partner needs, they are introducing the “Beretta 1301 Tactical C”, a 5+1 configuration of the 1301 Tactical that remains compliant with current regulatory interpretations. This model maintains the trusted reliability and performance the 1301 Tactical is known for, offering a solution for American gun owners, sports shooters, and self-defense advocates. Law Enforcement Agency approved purchases are not affected by this suspension of production.
